In 1981, I entered the flooring industry as an Installation Assistant. As my knowledge and understanding of what homeowners want from a flooring company I realized how important dependability, professionalism, high-quality flooring products, and expert installation were to having a flooring company people would rely on and then want to tell others about.

 As a result, in 2005, we formed Custom Services and Flooring Inc. which has grown to a full-service flooring company servicing all of Northern Virginia. We serve retail homeowners and builder contractors.  This experience and life-long commitment to the flooring industry fuels my desire to offer the best flooring experience Custom Services & Flooring Inc., can possibly provide!

Michael Bruce

I joined Custom Services and Flooring, Inc. as a Project Manager in 2012.   Growing up with a father in the flooring industry, I am no stranger to any type of flooring. I oversee field operations (Materials and Labor) to guarantee work is completed according to plans, project specifications and completion of schedule. 

Through the years, I have and continue to maintain detailed project documentation, including key project decisions, customer project requests and any revisions to the project or the process as needed.  Prior to installation, I confirm verification of jobsite conditions and manage quality control throughout the project.  I take great pride in the reputation we’ve built as experts in our field and we are dedicated to providing our customers with the highest quality products and services.   

No matter the size of the job, our team always goes above and beyond from the office to the field ensuring quality, customer service and customer satisfaction!


As a Project Manager for an experienced home builder in Northern Virginia, I’ve been working with Custom Services & Floors Inc. for almost 10 years.   Over the years, I have worked with many contractors and I have to say that Custom Services & Flooring Inc. stands out on quality workmanship, whereas; they keep to their schedules all the while meeting their deadlines.  Their team is even great when it comes to customer service!

Yeny Membreno

I joined the Custom Services and Flooring team in September of 2015, as an Executive Administrator.  With hands-on experience, my responsibilities have expanded to new obligations such as managing subcontractor schedules, verifying jobs are completed with an incredible standard.  I work directly with the Service Department, providing helpful information and answering questions.  I deal one-on-one with Field Superintendents confirming that work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.  I organize both client and potential client schedules. I also oversee all corporate office functions, as well as supporting other workforce and general office functions. 

It’s an honor for me to bring my years of experience to this team!
